LOVELESS… 愛無き者

That must be the most intriguing and metaphorical series I have had the occasion to watch.

As I re-watched it, I paid less attention to the story, and more to…what really happens in there, the hidden meanings behind the words and the looks, and it suddenly struck me as a strong representation of all the forms relationships between humans can take. But the most interesting aspect is, I don’t think is to show an actual opinion as prevailing, it just exposes possible debates… like:

Autumn is here… so is a new layout :)

I know, we’re still supposed to be in summer… However, summer in my region is well finished, and so since mi-august so I feel like matching the mood of the blog as well ;D

I set up a layout on which we could paste our own photo as the header. This photo is a screen-cap of my screensaver, I think it’s kind of popular accross the internet…

Ahh Autumn… the scarves, the boots, the leaves on the ground, the craving for tea anytime in the day and for rich dishes on the tables >__<

A peek into History

I went on a little trip in the back country, thing I’ve been wanting to do since I settled myself in France, so I was very excited and happy to finally do it.

I went to a region full of old castles : small, big, huge… all kind of castles are there, from every period. Of course, in my week of exploring, I couldn’t see them all, so I just went to a few of the most famous ones :)

I thought the original layout (Thirteen) was a bit gloomy for summer… and since summer isn’t really summer here in Paris, I felt like having at least, a summer-like page, with bright colours and light ^__^ So here’s “Greenery” for a time

Did it again… haven’t posted a thing in ages, not that I didn’t intend to, I just didn’t sit in front of my eeepc and type whatever came to mind…

I’ve been using youtube a lot lately, and ended up listening to celebrities talking about their lives or their movies and in particular to Keira Knightley, Angelina Jolie and Emmanuelle Béart… yes I know, all beautiful women, but they do have interesting things to say, they’re not just handsome

I often tend to like a singer, or an actor and their work better after having watched some interviews of them, or after attending some of their concerts. I guess I like to see how they speak with their own words, you can observe their mannerisms, reactions, what kind of look they have in their eyes and see how different they are from when you see/hear them on film/tape

Haven’t written a word in so long…

Or at least, that’s how it feels like!

Family coming over, busy life, and the hypnotizing power of Facebook’s applications made the days pass in a heartbeat! And every night the same routine rolling in my head : “it’s too late for tonight, I’ll do it another day”, and I never got near to drop by since…a month? more?

I should resume writing this story too, summer’s here and the scarce sunny days we have make us more inclined to spend time outdoors than in front of the pc, but heh, I can’t let too much time go without writing or my head will rot with my ideas still inside it ; )

I love taking pictures and buying pictures books…i don’t always buy them (they’re expensive! ^^) but I like strolling in bookshops and looking at some. Lately I’ve been looking at Victoria Frances’ books, and I thought a lot of her girls and atmosphere were matching the one I have in mine for my heroine, or some places she’ll go through, and thought it might help me keep a keen image of them if I buy the books…. there are days were a specific word just wouldn’t come back to me, and maybe having the image under my eyes instead of just in my head could make the rebels come back faster to mind….?

It happens to everyone

So yeah, it happens to everyone, once in a while, you do something sooo usual you don’t even take care of doing it right, like checking you actually have oyur keys before closing the door, etc.

My boyfriend lost his wallet last friday… We went to see a movie and we think that’s where he dropped it, because he used it to buy the tickets and only put it back into his bag once seated…or at least he thought he had put it into the the bag.

Nothing has been reported at the “lost items” office. It was the last projection of the night, so the cleaning person should have found it and brought it back to the office. But… nothing. Either that person found it and kept it, or another person watching the movie had.

Either way, let me say this : I can understand the temptation of keeping the money inside, even though I don’t say it’s okay to actually keep it…. But what off the rest? The ID papers, the fidelity cards, credit card, business cards, personal family photos, etc…. what the heck would you do with those? … nothing! On the other hand, the person who lost them IS troubled -___-;

The person who found the wallet won’t be able to use the credit card, here we must use a code to use it, we don’t use the band at the back. And about the train, cinema and Disney passes… they’re not only nominating but have our photos on it… nobody but us can use them! But on our side, we’ll have to pay to make new ones, and bit by bit, this is gonna be pricey x___x

So I’m gonna drop a special note in my own wallet right now :

“Please, if you ever find this wallet laying around somewhere, you may keep the money inside… but do give back the rest of it! I need these! Would you not want to have these back if you were in my shoes? So please call me at this number…. xxx “

Fallen for Her…

It never occurred to me before to share French lyrics and translations before…. usually, I only do this for japanese songs, but i really want to blog this particular French variety song.

Not many French compositions are to my liking but, there is one singer that I quite like : Pascal Obispo. His songs are composed and written by him, and his voice is of quality. I like his texts, as mush as his singing.
